Accompanying this letter please find the Honors Rules, Nomination Forms, and a list of Previous Honors Recipients. Please read and follow the rules carefully as the committee would not want to disallow the nomination of a deserving person because of an incorrect or incomplete nomination form. Following are the answers to some frequently asked questions.

1. The proposer of the nomination must be a PFLI club member and provide all pertinent information as to why he/she proposes the nomination.

2. In addition to information provided by the proposer, each nomination must be accompanied by two letters endorsing the person, telling why this person is deserving of this honor.

3. Awards for Associate, Fellow or Honorary Fellowship are usually reserved for those who’s contribution to photography is made through the PFLI. Service Awards are usually given for extraordinary service to photography through their local club or community.

4. A member may nominate a deserving member from any PFLI club for Associate, Fellow or Service Award Honors – you are not limited to persons from your own club.

5. Merchants who have provided exceptional service to PFLI members may be nominated for Service Award Honors.

Please encourage your members to participate. Let’s make sure that no deserving member is denied and honor.
